GEGHARKUNIK
Gegharkunik is the largest province in Armenia. Gavar is its capital and the largest town. Most of the territory of the region is covered by Lake Sevan, one of the largest lakes in Transcaucasia and also one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Its colors and shades change from a dazzling azure to dark blue, and to thousands of other shades depending on weather and its own mysterious inner processes.
